Working with
gourds since 1998 I have found my niche that combines all of
my hobbies into one. Getting to play in the dirt, use power
tools, and acquire all types of art supplies while using my
God given talent to create, it just doesn’t get any better
than this.
Born and raised
in Idaho I cut my teeth at art shows under my mother’s
sale table. Always having a desire to pursue the same path,
(in spite of all her warnings,) I finally found the perfect
medium in gourds. I am also a stay at home mom who homeschools
our two daughters so I limit myself to 3-4 shows a year and
a local Saturday market.
I was so excited
with the challenge of the quilt project, to see all of the different
and lovely tiles come together. It is truly one of a kind and
I am blessed to be a part of the quilt.
